I just got back from being up north. My aunt's funeral was the 24th, so I missed that. My daughter-in-laws' mother is back home, but still smoking--which is what got her in trouble in the first place. Otherwise, I'm doing ok. Got to be with my son's family for Christmas, which was very nice.

We come before You with hearts heavy yet full of hope. We lift up Chrystal and her family as they mourn the passing of her beloved aunt. Lord, comfort them in this time of sorrow and remind them that this is not the end but a step closer to Your loving arms.

May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds. Reassure them that Your promises are true and eternal—that to be absent from the body is to be present with You. Surround them with Your love, strength, and the hope of a joyful reunion in Your Kingdom.
