Prayer Request

Please pray for my dear friend and her husband and myself as I try to be there for them and I am already extremely drained physically. Her husband was admitted to the hospital last night and will probably come home today on hospice. He is 58 and been fighting lung cancer for a year and half now. They have adopted their oldest son's latest two daughters age 2 and 3. My friend John has over the last few days dramatically worsened and only has a few days left to a week. His wife, my friend, found out last night that the oldest son in back in jail. Please pray for God to uphold everyone in this situation and to provide the help this family needs!

Father, we lift up this family to you in this troubled time of their lives. We ask for the dad that you end his suffering quickly one way or another. If you are going to heal him then heal him and if you are going to take him home, then take him. We ask you to be with the mother and children and be a comfort to them. Wrap your arms around them and hold them in your bosom. For the son we ask that you would begin to guide away from this path he has chosen for himself right now. Use theis situation with his dad to reach him Father and put him on the right track that leads to you and peace within. Show yourself to this family and through thier ordeal...in Jesus name amen.

Thank you. I am home tonight for the first time since I posted. He came home from the hospital and after a rough first day at home has settled in and is resting/sleeping most of the time and aware of some things and enjoying his family around him. God has indeed answers your prayers for peace for all in this time. Their is one individual who is a family friend who is angry and bitter God right now. Another lifelong friend who is watching his last remaining friend die slowly and had been a prime influence in my friend becoming a Christian. This man is coping by drinking himself into oblivion! Pray for him especially as the enemy is working hard to discourage him and drag him down. Thank you dear friends. I am crashing physically and trying to keep my mood and sleep patterns in control/or returning to control.

My friend's husband died last night. remember his wife and two little granddaughters that they adopted and are raising in your prayers. Their lifelong friends Lon, Lucy and dtr Amanda are the ones who are struggling the most with personal issues and need warfare prayer in dealing with this grief.

PS also remember me as this has beat up my sleep pattern and I am needed to get it back in shape and just cannot slow myself down to rest well. awake every hour or two and up at 4 am and can't sleep. . . Thanks!
