Glorious St. Joseph, model of all who are dedicated to labor, obtain for them the grace to work in the spirit of love and faithfully to place their responsibilities above their own desires. Help them to work with joy and gratitude. Let them consider it an honor to use and develop the gifts they have received from God. Aid them to work with order, peace, moderation, and patience. Help them to work above all for the glory of God and the coming of his kingdom.
May they remember that they are to give an account of the gifts and talents they have received.

O God, the Creator of all things, you have made us in your own image so that we may find joy in creative work: have mercy on all those who are unemployed, and those who find their work dull, especially for those recently graduated. Help us to build a society where all may have work and find joy in doing it, for the good of our world and the glory of your name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
God, our Father, I turn to you seeking your divine help and guidance as I look for suitable employment. I need your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path, and to lead me to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. I wish to use the gifts and talents you have given me, but I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment. Do not abandon me, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant me this favor I seek so that I may return to you with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance. Grant this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we remember before you those who suffer want and anxiety from lack of work. Guide the people of this land so to use our public and private wealth that all may find suitable and fulfilling employment, and receive just payment for their labor; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
O God, who made us in your image and intended us for creative work; look with love on those of us who are unemployed. Help us to enjoy life together with those who have work
and to understand what kind of help we need to give one another, whether in paid employment or not. Guide the leaders of our country, that they may take wise decisions which will benefit us all. Finally we ask you Lord to guide us in the knowledge that we all have worth in ourselves and that we are all of equal value in your eyes, through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
O God, Who wills not the death of a sinner, but rather that he be converted and live, grant, we beseech Thee through the intercessions of the Blessed Mary, ever Virgin and all the Saints an increase of laborers for Thy Church, fellow laborers with Christ to spend and consume themselves for souls through the same Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in Unity of the Holy Spirit world without end. Amen.
God My Father, the Feast Day of Saint Joseph the Worker was instituted to draw attention to the dignity of labor, and to remind us of the spirituality of our jobs. I give the workers of my family and circle of friendsand their jobsto Saint Josephs intercession, and I especially ask for his prayers in the protection and guidance of husbands and fathers. Help us to view these menand all workerswith the same appreciation as You have, O Lord. Teach us to prioritize our jobs rightly, for the sake of loving our families, and lead the unemployed to work that is right for them. Saint Joseph, pray for us. Amen.
