  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Prayer request for my husband

Please pray for my husband who is having health problems. The doctors are not sure what it is at this point, but he has been in intense pain and unable to eat for over a week now. They have done all sorts of tests on him and have ruled out lots of things. We are now waiting on the insurance company to give their "permission" for more invasive tests. Please pray that he would be able to take some nourishment (as he is losing weight) and that the pain would remain at a bearable level. And most importantly that he would be healed.

Thank You!

Lord we lift Eternity's husband up to you now. Ease his pain and heal his body Lord. Amaze the doctors and remind them that YOU are the Great Physician and still in the miracle working business. Usher a peace upon them both that surpasses all understanding now, Father. I ask and pray now in the precious holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Thanks and blessings to all of you who have been praying for my husband. The doctor put him on some medication temporarily until the insurance company gives its permission for further testing...and he is feeling MUCH better! Praise the Lord! He has been able to eat some bland foods for the last couple of days and his pain has subsided to a bearable level. God has definitely honored the prayers of those who have been lifting him up! Thank you again so much!

In Him,

Eternity

Please continue to pray for my husband. Preliminary tests have revealed an intestinal abnormality that the doctors are unable to classify without further tests. He is scheduled for more testing April 30 with the gastroenterologist (the FUN test :help: ). And then will be going for scans after that. He has continued to be able to eat a rather bland and light diet the last few days. His nausea is not as frequent and his pain is better. Praise the Lord for those things! Please pray for the peace that passes all understaning for him as he waits testing and the results of the tests...and also for our Father's divine healing of what ever is wrong with him.

In Him,

Eternity

Thanks to everyone who has been praying for my husband. His "procedure" went well today. Although the doctor was unable to find a definite explanation for the pain that he was experiencing, he was able to rule out alot of things. The doctor wants to order some more tests at this point to double check the area of abnormality that they found earlier. He has started feeling much better than he was a couple of weeks ago. Thanks again for all of the prayers offered on his behalf!

In Him,

Eternity
