Prayer needs

It has been a rough week. I need prayer , but more important we need prayer for our son & 2 grandchildren. Our son had been having terrible migranes & the medicine he was given caused problems. He is off of the med, but still problems. Maybe it will get out of his system pretty soon. I have been up a lot with him this week. Tonight I found out our gr.daughter (5 yrs. old) has a colon problem (she went through an awful ordeal tonight -it took 2 hrs. to get her cleaned out enough to go home). She is pretty weak from the ordeal. She must see a specialist ASAP. We pray medicine will help...if not...she faces surgery. After B... was taken care of the parents talked to the doctor about their 3 yr. old son. He probably has the same problem & has to be checked too. The colon does not function properly & therefore gets impacted. The name of the condition is a mile long & I can't remember it. Thanks for letting me share.

Sorry to hear your family is experiencing so many medical problems. I hope things get diagnosed and figured out soon! I know waiting can be very frustrating and scary.

I will be praying for you and your family! I'm so sorry to hear that about your son and granddaughter. I pray she doesn't need surgery...please let us know when you get an update.

Thanks Maeyken and Heart. Just sharing your burdens with friends is a blessing. My son is better in regards to the medicine. The office for the children's specialist was closed Fri. and Mon. is a holiday , so it will be after Mon. before we know when they will go. I had the grands this weekend and the little 3 yr. old would cry out with pain every few hours , pat & point to his stomach...he is 3 but can't talk very well & that's his way of telling me where it hurt. He never did have a BM. Thanks again. Have a blessed week.

Hi and thanks Christianbelle ! Hi everyone else. Our gr.daughter will see a specialist in Feb. (1st avail. appt.). My son's headaches are coming back. He refused to take the new medicine because the 1st medicine made him hallucinate (sp?) pretty bad & really scared him. He has taken prescription pain med. for 2 days. If the headache comes on strong as before he might be willing to take the new med. Bless everyone and have a great weekend. In the morning my son & I will go to a local Christian pregnancy center & help paint the new location. After lunch we hope to attend a benefit fund raiser for a young man who fell from a tree just before Christmas ...is paralyzed from hips down...has a lovely wife/2 sm. children. Sun. afternoon I will go to the walk-a-thon for the Preg. Center...the Lord has blessed my effort...I have been given $250 in sponorships for the walk. I don't usually have so much crammed into one weekend..it just happened to work that way this time. Have a blessed weekend !

Thanks Herev and Heart! The fund raiser for the young man/family raised over $6000. I am so happy for them...their house is being renovated to accomodate his wheelchair & while they we gone someone stole all the plywood on a trailor in the back yard. I imagine it was taken by the same thief who broke into their home last year. The preg. center work & walk was a success also...don't know their total. Have a great week.
