Prayer for salvation

Hey,

I just would like to request some prayers for Sunday 22nd December. I'm going to a "carols by candle light" service at my church, but there are 3 people going who I'd like prayers for if you have a spare moment. This is really, really important to me!

 

Firstly, my parents. They're both coming and I really want them to be touched during the sermon, so please pray that God will touch their hearts and reveal himself to them.

Secondly, my friend Kerri. Today during English class, she came out with (totally outta the blue) "so what church do you go to then?" and I replied, telling her which church I went to. Then I asked why she was curious, and she said "'cos I want to start going to church again." I was like because 1) I had no idea she used to attend church and 2) I thought perhaps I could help bring her to Christ (which I have never really done before). Now, she's coming with me to the "carols by candle light" service and I just want prayer for her, for her salvation, and that she will enjoy the service and see something of what Jesus can offer.

Also pray that the service will inspire her and my parents, and be thought provoking and that they will leave the church knowing more about God. My parents have never thought highly of the church and I'm desperate for that to change!

This means a lot to me, so I really appreciate any prayers. If you could also perhaps mention me in your prayers, that God gives me strength and wisdom to have the right answers and do the right things. Thanks

I find it exciting that your friend wants to start going to church, it shows she is already seeking. God is already moving on this one!

Lord God, I praise you for Claire and her desire to bring her parents and her friend Kerri into Your kingdom! I praise You that they will be coming to the service at Claire's church and I ask Lord that You would soften their hearts by Your Spirit, to hear and recieve what You want them to hear, know and understand. Lord You are "not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.", so I'm standing beside Claire and asking for the souls of these people You created to be a joy and a pleasure to You. Please fill Claire with Your Spirit and give her words, or silence as Your will directs. May all the glory honor and praise be Yours O Lord! In the precious name of Jesus, Amen

Father, I stand in agreement with the prayer of Corbana, and I ask also that You pour out a special blessing on Claire for her desire to be obedient to You in leading others to Christ. May You reward her with seeing the salvation of these precious souls. Give claire a desire to further Honor You by working to see others saved as well. Give her strength, wisdom and knowledge to be a soul winner, for the sake of our Sweet and Precious Saviour, Jesus, in whose Name we always pray. Amen.
