Prayer favor

Hey gang,

This is no big heavy request, just asking for a favor. But come to think of it that in itself is cause to praise Jesus. I think it's the first time I've asked for prayer that it I didn't have a huge need or crisis that needed solving!

But here's what I do have. One of the companies I work for is doing a sales contest. It started in April and runs through the end of JUne. I was just blessed to find out that my current ranking is number 4. The contest has three prize levels, so if I can bump it up even just one notch I get to win. And I'm not ashamed to admit, I want to!

My job is display and ordering, not really sales. I effect in-store sales, but I don't have as much control as a salesperson would. I actually like having the limited control. All I have to do is the best job I know how to do and leave the rest to the Lord.

So, if you think about of it in your prayer time would you ask Him to show favor on me and the stores I service?

Thanks to all for your prayers. And Michelle, yes. It was so weird, as I was typing the request this morning I realized I pray all the time often for the small stuff, but never think to ask others to pray for me for the small stuff. It's kind of cool having some small stuff, too.

Either way, just learning how to ask for prayer and for all of us to learn to ask God BEFORE we do things is a blessing in itself.
