Can we post prayer requests here?
If so we have some
1. We need people to live with. We live with my father, 92, who's about to be foreclosed on, I have no income, and the waiting list for public housing is long.
Even had I gotten a job, it wouldn't be enough to afford a small apt. anyway

2. My son to come back to Jesus.

3. A bible (we had one, but spilled pop over it.)

4. Clothing. My son has some, but I have 2 pants, and 2 tops.

This is my congregational home, so wanted to request prayers here.

Also, Why was a lion chosen for the icon for conservative christians?

Have you went to your church yet? I know mine helps people whenever they can in situations like this. They would also be able to provide you with a Bible I'm sure.

I'll be praying for your situation HD.

Praying that God provides your material and your church needs - I'm certain he wants you to have your basic needs met as well as your faith needs. Praying that He give you comfort and rest during these stressful times.
