Hello. In November of 2016, I broke up with my girls friend of 2 years. We were not growing spiritually together and there were other things that would have never worked in a marriage. About 3 'I thank later, I started dating someone else. I have truly fallen in love with this girl and care about her. Over the past month or so, old feelings have started to resurface of me and my ex. Instead of thinking about the negative things that ended the relationship, I have started to think about all the positive things. Still being at the same school, I remember very fond memories of us and they have started to make me wonder. God has truly did a work in her life and that was all because of the fact that we broke up, which I praise God for. I just don't know what to do or how to feel. My current girlfriend and I have decided to take a break, but now I'm starting to wonder. Prayers and advice would be a huge help brothers and sisters.

Mark, welcome. I'm new here too. I'd suggest for you to spend some time in the book of Proverbs.

I'm praying for God to give you a vision for the plan on what's important for you at this juncture of your life so you can establish clear priorities and focus your energy accordingly. I'd ask you to pray on what are your educational, job, and career goals.

I'm also praying for God to give you the wisdom to execute that plan so that when you do finally meet the girl who becomes your best friend, you are both ready with your education completed, jobs and careers started, and prepared spiritually in Christ to take the next step together.

Remain in the Word through scripture and strong in your prayer life. Look for opportunities to fellowship with other Christians and have a place to worship Christ with other believers.
