Pray for my Jon

I feel sort of bad requesting prayers here because I feel like my request is silly, but then again we are to bring all our requests to God, so here goes.

I met this guy (Jon) a few months ago and we have been dating. He is a Godly man and I am crazy about him. When he was younger his parents got a divorce (he was 16)...things were bad even before the divorce. He is still dealing with their divorce now at 23 and is very torn apart by it. His mom is basically a man hater. Also, he recently was discharged from the Navy due to a foot injury that would not allow him to complete officer candidate school. He says that nothing has ever affected me to my core and that I just dont get him. I wish there was something I could say or do but there isnt. I feel terrible. Please pray for our relationship and for Jon. I care about him deeply and want God to give him peace about the direction of his life and his family as well. Thank you so much and God bless!

Your prayer request is not silly. It seems that you care deeply about this man. I am praying that he will see that and open up to you. He may not be ready to open up to anyone. Most guys find talking about stuff really hard. Is he a Christian?

Living4Him03-if it is important to you, hon, it is important to God. If it is something you are struggling with, than He wants you to bring it to him and to your brothers and sisters in Christ to pray with you over. There is strength and power in prayer!

Lifting up Jon and yourself and your relationship. For healing of past hurts for Jon so that he can move forward with his life and for God to lead you both in the direction he would have you go.
