Pray for my job

Hi, I already posted some of this in the advice forum but at this point I think I need prayer more than advice!

Things have gotten kind of complicated for me in my work... a coworker/friend was given some of my duties (the ones that made me "important") and I am left more or less with busywork. This was done w/o even letting me know... and also, the loss of those duties makes me almost unmarketable professionally. My attempts to fix it have gotten nowhere so far, and the other day I inadvertently stepped on my coworker's toes by doing what I thought was my job, but she says was her job. She sent me a terse email about it. Now I'm mad bc she could've at least been polite about it.

Also, last week, our boss asked the coworker to basically lecture me about my job. My job is to edit things and I was criticized for, well, editing. It would help if I had a clearer job description, but I've been afraid to ask our boss bc he doesn't "get" what I do, and I don't want him to set in stone my current pathetic job.

I usually love my work but now my mood couldn't be worse and I know I'm touchy... please pray for my attitude and for others around me, that I can do the best job I can w/o ticking others off or becoming slack and useless.

I am sorry to hear that things are not improving at your workplace, goodgirl. I know how unpleasant it is to go to work and not enjoy what you do. But I pray that things will improve and that this situation will get straightened out so that you will enjoy your job again. Maybe something better will come along there that you would enjoy more than what you are doing now, who knows?
