  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hi, God is able you know. He is God of the impossible. I had situation in my life where I was so in a financial situation. I slowly started to become a faithful tither and God has carried me through. The ways in which he got me out was just totally amazing ie. I had a bond on staff rate and when it fell away they compensated me by adding what fell away to my salary. I got another job for a higher salary after. With my new job, we used to get bonuses and all of a sudden it fell away and what fell away had to be added in my salary and I then got another job at a higher salary. It was not overnight but God changed everything. Will pray that God will show you what to do to get out of your situation. Be blessed

One of the things that I have learned ---- and surely the most important ---- is that God already has everything we need. We just need to learn how to get out of the way so that He can bless us accordingly. I don't need to lose sleep, cry out "why, God?", or yell at my family. I need to stop doing that. I need to examine what I can do to get out of His way. What am I doing that displeases him? What am I doing that worries me and my family...... or what am I NOT doing? How's my language? How's my spending on stuff we can do without? Am I watching my gas mileage? Can I get in a car pool? Have I quit smoking, drinking? Am I honest 24/7 with everyone: family, friends, employer; everyone? Can I get some of the folks I owe money to, to reduce the amount, or the payments, without adding on a ton of interest? Are there folks in the church who will take care of the lawn, year-round, rather than me paying someone to do it? That's especially important for those of us who are physical disabled or limited. My position is that as soon as we begin cooperating with God, He will point out all sorts of ways that we can save, and He will begin opening much-needed doors.
