Pray for my Dad please.

Hey, a lot of you already know who I am...I have been gone for a while but I am back now. Its good to see all of you again, and to meet new folks too.
Anyway, to get to my post.
My dad was diagnosed with a disease called systemic scleroderma, it affects your organs, veins, and skin...it causes them to thicken, among other things. It is a disabling disease. Well, this past february he was also diagnosed with prostate cancer, and now this month he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He cannot have radiation, it will kill him. He will not take chemotherapy, and he will not have surgery, surgery may not even work due to his skin becoming so tough, healing would take a while.
He is not saved, and about nov or dec last year I prayed God whatever it takes to bring him in...I meant that prayer too. He is an alcoholic and says he is an atheist. He has recently however been thinking about God and stuff.
I really need you guys to help me pray that God would soften his heart and that he would turn his life over to God. I appreciate your prayers. Thanks!

Your dad is in my prayers as I type.

I was diagnosed with lung cancer last year, lost a third of my right lung in surgery and went through 7 weeks of daily radiation therapy.

I spent my time on the radiation table in the hands of Jesus and my family prayed continually for me.

God was and always is in complete Control.

I will pray for your dads conversion and that he will be submissive to whatever treatments his doctor or doctors consider wisest. I have his doctor/s in prayer at this moment as well as all of you who love him.

Being a Catholic Charismatic, I will also ask for prayers from my "friends".

Good to see you back online. I just barely got to see you around last November but I do recognize your username.

Anyway, I will pray for your dad's heart to receive the things of God and for his conversion to be so absolute with Jesus. God is good and the best part of this prayers is that I am in agreement with God because HE is not willing than any should perish but that all should come to repentance. I pray for you dad even this moment to be rounded and grounded in the love of God and that he would bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit in his life.

Wow. This is interesting. I was JUST thinking about YOU this week and wondering where you have been. I will certainly pray that this time in your dad's life will serve to put him on his face before his creator and allow him to receive the love that has been waiting for him.

Your prayer has already accomplished your wishes. Your dad is saved through your prayers. His coming to The Lord is a "Done Deal". It is not a matter of if, only a matter of when.

Well, for now it means he is just waiting to die. He can still take cared of himself and stuff, when he gets to the point that he can't, either my wife and I will move to missouri and move in with him or pray he comes down here.
