  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yesterday, my dad came downstairs and said he wasn't feeling well. He told my mom that he was feeling dizzy, so she told him to sit down.
"Deb, I'm not feeling quite right." He said.
Then, all of a sudden, he started to turn pale. His eyes were still open, but he was mentally not present. Mom started yelling, "Larkin! Larkin! Wake up!!!" From upstairs, I heard my mom yelling. I ran downstairs as quickly as I could and then my mom and I both used all of our strength to pull him out of the chair and lay him out on the floor. Fortunately, he didn't get hurt on the way down, and he quickly regained consciousness.
My sister called the police and she was telling them what was happening. In about 20 minutes, an ambulance was there and they took him to the hospital.
I talked to him this morning and he said that while in the hospital, he tried to get up to go to the bathroom and fainted again, but when he fell, he pulled a cord out of some machine and so it started beeping like mad. He said when he woke up, people were all around him trying to help him.
The doctor thinks the upper chambers of his heart are having trouble beating regularly.

I'm not sure what is going to happen, but my dad seriously needs prayer. This isn't the first time that God has told him to tell people when he wasn't feeling right. Please, if you guys could just pray for him that he gets better and bless the doctors as they do their best to try and figure out what is wrong.

Thanks so much!

:prayer:

Firstly sweetheart I pray that you & your Mum know peace in this. That the enemy will not use fear to cause you to worry about your precious Dad, Larkin.

Jesus has this all in control. The Lord can and will heal your dad. That is why He is prompting you & others to pray. He wants your Dad to recover.

Precious Heavenly Father I thank you so much that when Larkin was unwell at home, someone was there to help & call for medical assistance. Lord I thank you that in the Ambulance you were there, bringing peace and comfort to Larkin because you love him so very much and don't wish for him to be afraid. Continue Lord to give those taking care of him wisdom and knowledge to provide the right treatment and care. And that Lord, Larkin knows of your healing power to his heart, that it will function normally. For your peace to fill his life every day and enable him to sleep and not to worry. That this whole family places trust and faith in you and your promises, that everything will work together for good.Thankyou your mercies are new every morning and great is your faithfulness. You will not forsake these dear ones and will bring the healing you promised. Amen.

Much peace , God is near.
Bless you all,
Gentle-Heart

Lord above, please watch over this man's father. Keep him close to You and and heal him. Watch over this entire family in their time of need. Let them not loose faith in You and Your divine plan. Also Lord, let them not fear in this tough time. Thank you God.

I know everything will turn out just fine. Good luck, and God bless.
