Hello everyone. It seems everythings going wrong. My mom today was sitting in a chair, stood up, and her ankle cracked causing her to fall to the floor. She is just 42 so we are trying to find out whats going on. The ER says she has a fracture so now she is out of work (she is a cashier who stands 8 hours a day) and i don't know what we are going to do. We don't have much money as it is and this is making things worse. Please pray that her ankle heals quickly so she can get back to work or that my nonunderstanding boss will find her a positition to temporarily work. We work at a grocery store together and the managers there don't care even if you die and certainly made it a point they don't care about my mom.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Abba Father,
With much gratitude I come before you in prayer. I am grateful in distressing times such as these we can look to you for relief. Bestow upon this young lady and her mother your kindness. Repair the mothers damaged ankle and allow her pain to subside. Through the healing hands of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!
