CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yep, heartbreak, been there, and it is the most horrible thing I have ever experienced (apart from the day when I thought my unborn baby was going to die, but that is for another time)
I am praying for you. Lord I just pray for this young man, that you would be able to bring comfort in this time of confusion. I pray that he would be able to focus on you and what you are trying to teach him at this time.
Remember that there is a testimony in this, I always think that when I go through hard times that there is a testimony in it. Whether it works out the way you want it to or not, one day you will be able to look back, and find that God showed you something in the middle of it all.

Trust in the Lord with all you heart, all your soul, and all your mind and it will work out according to HIS will. And keep that first, ok? HIS will, not yours. I know that's hard, but it's IMPORTANT!!catch22 said:
