This came to my mind after reading your post, from Colossians 1
"For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding..."

Please help this person not to sin lord. And let them be more dependent on you lord. Not just for forgiveness but in their relationship to you. No one can stand your great mercy and keep sinning. And in their prayers I pray the shame is too much and they will find a way to cut down and stop. Help them to be better help them to obey more. And bless them with vigilant effort that it takes to be pleasing in your eyes. In Jesus Name.
