Praise & Worship
To raise my hands in praise
Is to bless the Lord
I want to please my Maker
Like I never have before
God is more than worthy
Of all the praise that I can give
He saved my soul from hell
by His death I can live
He said if I'm ashamed of Him
Then He will be of me
I never wish to shame my God
So praising Him, I will ever be
As I humbly bow my head
And silently begin to pray
My words are a sweet savor to Him
I hope to bless Him each and everyday
True worship comes from the heart
From the very depths of one's soul
I seek to praise the Lord of lords
For He has made me whole
God has done so much for me
The least I can do for Him
Is lift my hands in praise
To the One who washed away all my sin
No longer will I consider
What others will do or say
I only want to please Him
And to give God all the praise
God tells us in His Word
That our praise blesses His heart
So today I choose to please my Savior
And be, from this world, set apart
When I get to Heaven
And bow at the feet of the Lord
I want to hear "Well done, My child"
As I receive my everlasting reward.
