Inspite of any disagreements we might have floating around, there should always be something to praise The Lord for! Let us show some unity in joining together to praise the Lord!

For this topic; we should always have it at the top, meaning people posting praises all the time - and we invite all denominations from around the forum to join us here in this topic!

I will post a different verse, each day, from the Bible about praising the Lord.

Please post your praises for who He is or What He has done for/to you.

I will gladly post the first praise here too.

I want to praise the Lord for saving me today. Here where I live we are getting devastating rains and floods - lives are being lost, and I had a really close call in my tanker truck today because of all the mud.

Today I will praise the Lord for saving my life again in my truck driving The weather has been very bad with all the floods in Alberta here, and my kind of trucking has been very dangerous. Plus I just got word from the last of my family that they are OK and managed to escape the flood waters in the worst hit areas where they live.

I've been following the floods in the Calgary area on the 'puter for a couple days and they look quite devastating. I'm glad you and yours are OK!

Thankyou...another reason to praise the Lord! For friends who care and keep track...I am on my regular work rotation about 5 hours north of Calgary, so although my work is dangerous in this weather; atleast I am not in the really bad flood plain areas down south. Some of my family cannot go to their employment for a few days or so because of the floods. There were a few people killed in High River, but miraculously, no one in Calgary.

2Ch 20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

Jehoshaphat exhorted his troops to firm faith in God. Faith inspires a man with true courage; nor will any thing help more to the establishing of the heart in shaking times, than a firm belief of the power, and mercy, and promise of God. In all our trust in the Lord, and our praises of him, let us especially look at his everlasting mercy to sinners through Jesus Christ. Never was an army so destroyed as that of the enemy. Thus God often makes wicked people destroy one another. And never was a victory celebrated with more solemn thanksgivings.

Today; let us praise the Lord for all his help when we are in troublous times. Praise, seems to attract His attention!

I just noticed something about the first text used in the OP for this topic. I will post it again, and then comment on what I noticed:

I guess I did notice it in the OP as shown by the bolded red but it has just now really jumped out at me. This text is suggesting a regular schedule for praising the Lord; and this has gotten me to wondering; "why do you think God would admonish us to do it that way?"

Certainly; it does add a dimension to prayer, and relationship with God that I have not given much thought or effort to...I guess thats part of the reason for this topic

Tonight; i want to praise the Lord for all the many beautiful plants and flowers of the summer season! I just took this picture in a marshland area near where I am currently working!
