My twin sister was protected by God, and I praise Him!

She was on the way home yesterday from High School cheer and was on the interstate. There was heavy traffic from an accident, so it was almost at a standstill. She was stopped behind a car in the traffic when she checked her rear view mirror. She noticed a car going around 80 miles per hour behind her. After a few moments, she noticed how the car was not slowing down. It was coming up very quickly behind her and the brake lights were not on, the car was still going full speed ahead not aware of the stopped traffic, and my twin who was in her path. Gabby, her name, wanted to hurry to the next lane, but there were cars and she couldn't move. The car was very close now and still not slowing down, and Gabby realized that the woman was not paying attention, but looking down. Gabby knew all she could do was brace for impact so she clutched the steering wheel and said she tensed up her neck because she thought it would keep it from breaking. :( The car was probably ten feet away, and Gabby was terrified. An impact like that would shatter the glass around her, push her into the car in front, and her head could possibly go through or into the steering wheel. This 80 mile per hour impact could have crushed and killed her, she has a small car, to make it even worse... At the last second, literally before it hit her probably only a couple of feet behind her, the woman looked up and slammed on her brakes and swerved around her into the grass and into a guard rail. The woman was okay, but her car was pretty messed up.

Gabby was shaken up when she got home and told me. She said that God was watching over her that day. I praise God because He saved my sister from serious injury and possibly even death. That was as close of a call as I could of imagined. Thank you God! I love you so much, and praise you for protecting her! You absolutely protected her from that driver and I am so grateful! Hallelujah, hallelujah! God is more than good!!!

Praise God! Praise Jesus!

Once, when I was driving on the turnpike in heavy rain, I has a rear-tire blowout as we came around a bend.
My car at the time was a rear-wheel drive convertible sports car (so a rollover would have been bad),
and the roads were slick from the rain. In the instant that happened, I managed to maintain control of the
vehicle long enough to gently pull over to the side of the road, not panicking even for an instant.
Strangely enough, we came to stop at a mile marker on the highway. Even more miraculously, friends of
mine from the same town I lived in happened to be traveling to same destination and noticed my car pulled over
on the side of the highway. This all happened in the early '90s, before the days of cell phones, and they
picked us up and took us to a nearby roadside gas station convenience store so that we could use a pay phone
to call a tow truck. It was late at night, and no tow truck services were available for some reason,
so our only option was leave the vehicle and try to get back to Tulsa so we could tow it in the morning.

The only person we could call whose number we knew was our friend Adam, who ordinarily stayed out all night
on weekends, but said he had some inexplicable impulse to come home that night instead for no reason.
When I called, his Dad answered and told me he was gone for the night and didn't expect him back until
morning. My friend and I both began to fret, and then, as Adam's Dad was about to hang up, Adam suddenly walked
in and took the call. He left immediately to come get us and the next morning I was able to send a tow truck
directly to my car's location because of the mile marker next to which it had come to a stop.

So many variables, every one of them falling perfectly into place to escape what might have been
utterly disastrous after utterly disastrous.

Is not God amazing?

Awesome! Thank God!

heb 1:13-14 And to which of the angels has he ever said,

“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?
