I am so happy you have the music sites working. Yeah,I "snagged" Big Mike myself off my stationery forum,LOL! I chuckled as soon as I saw him and thought "boy he really expresses it" and I knew I would use him. .

Love Lonnie

I see a lot of Christians getting along here and learning from one another how to spread the Good News successfully, mostly by giving unconditional love.....something like letting go of the bird and if it comes back to you, it is yours. I have seen many people growing here in God's love which is coming through other posters. I have seen people growing through loving one another rather than trying to lay down solid unbendable rules. I read the bible and I see Jesus giving unconditional love.....yes, rules too but unconditional love first and foremost. You are a wonderful example Lonnie

Hello
I want to "practice His presence " more this year. Spend more time with Him and ministering praise and worship to Him . That delights His heart. And we should want to please Him more than people. Amen??

I have started feeling HIS presence a lot lately...I have a job that involves me being in my truck a lot in the early morning hours...I've started listining to Christian Talk Radio (630 KSLR AM and 1100 KDRY AM)...it's got my absolutely YEARNING to be in the WORD...so...I've been reading my Bible a lot more...and my son and I have both been learning and praying out of Luther's Small Catachism...It's a true joy praying with a 4 year old boy...he actually comes into my bedroom now and reminds me we need to pray...

Gives me pause for thought Lonnie

I wonder how sitting in front of this computer for hours playing games, etc. gives worship to Jesus. And then I think that God is everything to me and I want to please Him and then I remember He loves me, us, no matter what. If we sin, we must atone, or pay, for our sins but He always loves us.

So true dear sis.I have been thinking the same thing about my own life,so have decided to spend less time at the computer and more time in my recliner in prayer,reading, and bible study. I want to get ever closer to God and to memorize more scripture. Plus now I will be attending a church that has mid-week bible study as well.

I talk to God on the regular like I do my earthly friends. I stay in his Word constantly to learn more about Him and to study His ways. Through prayers I tell him my needs and express my thanksgiving.
And I feel him in the wind that blows and when the sun shines on my face. I obey the Father's commands so I will be called his friend!

I feel Him when I am here and chatting with people..reading the different threads etc. BUT I feel Him on my own, when I sit down to read the Word and listen to Him. He is ALWAYS speaking, but sometimes it is ME that isn't hearing. I try and listen and keep my mind stayed on Him. I listen to praise music ALOT. I try to keep my mind on things 'above'..not things on the earth. Ha, being so heavnely minded I am no earthly good..not in the context of worldy things anyway. Try to do some good here!

Good thoughts Judah.

God is right there wherever we are or whatever we are doing and we can include Him or not. I like to include Him regardless of what I am doing, which lately is not very much. I just like to feel His presence.

Me too! frey...My mind is constantly thinking on Him..sometimes not so positive things..like asking why etc..or Lord, I HATE this going on..or what is up with that. BUT He is always on my mind.
