Jenny parked her car in the school parking lot and walked up to the doors. She paused though, seeing it was still nice enough out, and sent Grace a quick text to let her know that she was not going into the school until Grace was with her.
"Stupid dances. Stupid dances. Stupid dances," she grumbled, placing her cell back into her purse.
Rachel pulled into the school parking lot with the windows down and her music blaring. She parked her car and made her way up to the school, still humming to the music in her head. She was wearing an army green jumper that zipped up from bottom to top with tshirt sleeves. Her black messy hair had styling wax in it tonight, and she chose mostly black or black&white accessories (wristband, necklaces, rings, ect.). The jumper had a couple of pockets and details on it that Rachel accented with safety pins and whatnot.
She shook her head a little, feeling her hair bounce without really moving, and she smiled. She noticed the goth girl hanging out outside, where almost no one was, but she walked past her and right into the school. finding her friends, of whom only two had dates, and they all found a spot off to the side and riht next to one of the huge sfloor speakers. Even though the music mostly stunk, Rachel and her friends danced like they enjoyed it anyways, laughing at each other and everyone else there.
"Hey beautiful, may I have this dance?" a female voice spoke behind Jenny.
She turned around to see Grace bowing slightly with ehr hand out and trying not to laugh.
"Where have you been?" Jenny asked, although it was hard to be mad when her friend was laughing, "I can't believe you're making me do this."
Grace just laughed again and pulled Jenny by the arm into the school, her silvery-grey wings bouncing a little in the breeze.
