Peace in Christ.
We…who are first redeemed from among men…believe in the testimony of Jesus. We believe on God who sent the Son to speak to us who comes to give us an understanding by the opening up of the Scripture of Truth.
Joh 12:44-46 KJV
(44) Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
AND…he that sees Him, sees Him that sent the Son.
The outside world sees Him (the Light of the world) merely by just looking upon Him.
We, in Christ, also have this effect upon the people of the outside world who are in darkness. Jesus tells us that we are the light of the world that cannot be hidden from this world.
Just by looking at us (who have the light of Christ), they will see the glory of God appear upon us. We don't have to say a thing...yet.
(45) And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
(46) I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
We…His people who hear His voice and believe in Him…have the light shining within our hearts.
This is the “sign of the Son of man” in “heaven”…in those who are focusing on things above. Their hearts are on things above….and they will now when they will hear the Son by the light that shines in their hearts.
We are “Zion”…the “city” of people who have His shining light (the sign) within us. “Zion” = sign (to point out), sunny, rising monument, indication, mark, etc
This light…this sign…is to stay in those who will believe in it.
When we believe in it (retaining His light), we become children of light to this world.
We, in Christ, become the light of the world that will have an effect in the hearts of those people of the outside world. The morning star will shine in their hearts….just by looking at us. We don’t have to say a thing.
We are to be the light beings walking around in this dark world…shining as lights in the world…..the children of His light. Just by merely being in our presence, this light effect will appear/shine in the hearts of the people of the outside world.
Joh 12:35-36 KJV
(35) Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
(36) While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
The glory (weight or heaviness) of God appears over us for the outside world to perceive.
If they make “light” of us …that is, to make little account of/disesteeming us, then God curses them according to the promises of Abraham that we are to inherit.
Gen 12:2-3
(2) And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
(3) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth (make light of) thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
This is the power over the nations that He gives us who have the glory of God appear over us. If they do not come before us to serve to the praise of our God, then that nation and kingdom shall perish.
Isa 60:12 KJV
(12) For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
Jesus gives us power over the nations as He received by the Father. Those who do not serve us, He rules them with a rod of iron….by breaking them to shivers as vessels of a potter.
Rev 2:26-29 KJV
(26) And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
(27) And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
But to those of the outside world who do show us respect, the morning star will shine in their hearts. He gives us the “morning star.” He gives us the morning star effect in others' hearts. He causes the dawning light to appear in the hearts of the people who are in darkness by our mere presence.
(28) And I will give him the morning star.
(29) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Through faith and patient endurance, we are to inherit the promises made to Abraham. Those of the outside world who bless us, God will bless them.
Heb 6:12-15 KJV
(12) That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
(13) For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
(14) Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
(15) And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
