Posts too wide for screen

This is a bug that seemed to have been fixed before, but has come back yesterday & today.

I am using the Moody Sky skin so I can have a narrower window. Sometimes I get a page where all the posts seem to be as wide as the longest line in any post. It's not all the time, but in some threads about 2/3 of the time.

It depends what users post. If someone posts a large image, or a long string of text then it can't be avoided.

This has happened on pages where no images are posted, and no long text strings. If it happens again, I'll post a link.

Are you by any chance using the new Firefox browser? I just upgraded my Firefox browser and now some posts are too wide for the screen as well. I wasn't having this problem with the old Firefox.

I have CF set to 40 posts per page.

Can you figure out what there might be on that page that would cause this?

I don't see anything.

What screen resolution do you use? Do you run Safari in full screen?

I'm going to install Safari (on PC mind you) and see if it has a rendering issue that FF doesn't have.

I think the problem is intermittent. The page just now loaded normally for me.

This leads me to think it's an ad that's probably causing it. Should I check which ads are on the page next time it happens?

Take a screenshot if you can (of one that looks suspicious). Safari looked fine for me, so it may be one of the ads.

Just so I know what we're up against here, can you tell me your screen resolution?

Sorry, you asked me that before & I wasn't sure I knew what the term meant. I'm still not 100% sure.

Does 1024 X 768 sound like the answer to the question you're asking?

If this helps, it just happened again when I reloaded, with different ads on the page. The first ad and first post loaded normally, then as the ads below the first post loaded, the first post went wide.
