That is a tough one... One of my best friends ever -- both her parents were alcoholics and co-dependant too... Her dad was abusive to her mom -- totally screwed up...My parents are alcoholics and have been since I can remember so I didn't fancy staying home from school when they were there. Once I got into 11th grade, and started doing classes at the community college instead, I didn't have to have notes anymore, so I could skip any time I felt like it...which was a little too often since I was going through a bit of an emotional melt down because of family stuff.
Oh mom had great intentions, she owned her own business, and was active in church, just when she had her hystroectomy she went throught the chang and she was only like 40 then. That would have been in 1958 ir 59 and they didn't know what they know today. It just made he so darned depressed.My mom at least had good intentions. She was not there because she was trying to get an education.

I can understand that. but you did what you needed to do.I have some trouble with my mother now, its gotten a little better. I transfered my membership from the church my parents go to the one I've been going to for almost 2 yrs now and she really had issues with it
