I Don't Care-Apocalyptica w/the lead singer of Three Days Grace.
a touching song for me. its my little sister's favorite song. it helps her deal with what her grandfather did to her for all the years he did what he did. i don't like that she can relate to the feelings shared in lyrics at her young age, but i'd rather her feel like that, then her letting what happened to her ruin the good things she sees in life. her favorite part is, "if you were dead or still alive, i don't care, i don't care. just go and leave this all behind, because i swear, i don't care." some may say that is sad, and i'll agree with that. but she's learning a hard lesson in life and she's learning it maturely for her age. sometimes you just have to not care about the people that have hurt you immensly to get passed all the bad things that have happened in your life. she's such a mature girl, i'm convinced someday she'll come to be able to do this and wish him well.
but all i know is right now, when she was riding me with in my truck and she wanted to put in the cd and listen to it, she said, i want to play this song because its my favorite and it reminds me of how i feel about with bob did. so i'm listening to it, and i was saddened, but at the same time, deep inside i felt, good.
