Hmmm. I think we need to make a Deadpool thread

I agree! So here it is! Come, discuss all things deadpool! Ask questions, get answers, break the 4th wall, crack jokes at inappropriate times!

To get things started: Are we excited about the Deadpool movie? Or are we terrified at the possibilty of another Baraka-pool?

Ok, seeing how I'm a reletively new Deadpool fan I'm happy this thread has been created. So, where comic-wise should I start reading? I've only picked up a few comics here and there and I really enjoyed them.

I'd suggest either starting from the begining of a series. Preferably either Cable & Deadpool (but that's out of print, but in TPBs), Deadpool (the one from the 97, out of print and no TPBs) or Deadpool (the one recently) or the Deadpool Team-Up series (note: that series actually counts down in issue snumber from 900). Or try picking up a few of the 'Deadpool Classic' TPBs they have assortment of old and new comics, giving a good spring board.

The congoing Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth, and Deadpool: Corps books are some what relient on previous plot points, but still excellent reads. I also have a large 'binary' collection of Deadpool comics... that I might can share.
