There was an elderly lady who saved up her money and took an African safari vacation.

She never went anywhere without her old pet poodle.

She arrived in camp and the poodle being a dog set off to sniff all the strange exotic smells of the African bush.

Well after a little while the old poodle noticed he was lost. Next he noticed a young big toothy leopard slowly stalking him.

He thought to himself, can't out run him, can't fight him. What to do, what to do. He looked around and noticed some bones at his feet.

Thinking quickly he picked up a bone and start chewing. Just before the leopard pounced he said, as if to himself, "Boy that leopard sure tasted good, but I'm still hungry wonder if I can find another one."

The leopard stopped and thought to himself, "That was close, that dog must be tougher than he looks."

With that he snuck to a safe distance then started running away.

A monkey overhead had seen the whole thing. Laughing to himself the monkey chased after the leopard to tease him.

Well our ole poodle saw the monkey run off after the leopard and thought, "That is probably not a good thing."

He kept a sharp eye out while he tried to find his way back to camp.

The monkey eventually caught up with the leopard. The monkey told him what a fool the old dog had made of him.

The angry leopard fiercely told the monkey climb on my back and you will get to see what I will do to that dog.

A bit later the dog sees the leopard approaching rapidly with a monkey on his back. He thinks to himself, this does not bode well for me. So, he turns his back on the two pretending not to see. As they run up the dog acting angry says loudly, "Where is that monkey, I sent him to fetch me another leopard almost an hour ago."
