• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I've voted for president four times and voted for the democrat each time.

I think I'm a little more of a moderate than I was 10-15 years ago. I would have to consider voting for a Republican in 2008, especially if Hillary Clinton gets the Democratic nomination.

Attention mods: I'm not trying to start a political debate in this forum, I'm just detailing my political leanings. Which should be fine as long as no one comments on them and future posters in this thread only list their leanings.

Still a Conservative here!! Glad that they are back in leadership!!

Like I said not conservative enough for my vote. :)

I am more conservative now than I was say 10 years ago, but lately I have been learning tolerance for people I disagree with. I think that is where politics has gone wrong in the USA. We now have to personally attack those we disagree with. I don't think that is very Christian. So I am trying to not hate those I disagree with. Or rather I am working very hard on not confusing the two emotions/positions.

I dont know much about American politics.... so far I am the only Canadian to answer this thread on political view. :p Its nice to have someone in leadership now that doesnt say yes to anything just to get votes. Mr Harper has a strong faith in God and good values. I believe he will help turn Canada back to a Godly nation. Politics is a sticky subject no matter what country people live in. :)

Yes. I used to always vote Republican. I'll not be doing that so readily anymore.

Still vote GOP but mainly a Independent these days!
