Trauma really made me mad last night.

The EMt's were on sight of a domestic abuse arrest, with the victim.
The policeman had the suspect cuffed, and the suspect called the cop a name. The cop beat him severely.
The veteran EMT just walked away and would not have reported it, but they were called in for questioning on the incident.
The newbie EMT partner laid it all out.

The EMT's supervisor was ready to fire him, the police threatened him, and the original cop assaulted him while he was on a call.

And in the end a homeless man jumps on the veteran EMT and would have strangled her, but the newbie EMT pulls him off and punches him three times.
He tells her"I didn't mean for it to go that far."
She replies "No one does."

As if to say this self defense case was equal to the cop beating a man in cuffs that was not resisting.

I sure hope this is not typical in most major cities. Emt's covering for police abuse, SUpervisors of city employees working to get employees fired for telling the truth. Police supervisors ecouraging witnesses to not report the truth, by seeking out the witnesses supervisor.

I guess I know why no one is responding.
The network is not renewing trauma.

Another point on the show above.

The Iraqi war veteran helicopter pilot was visited by another veteran, whom she finds out, is awol. She sleeps with him, and notifies Military police, who is waiting for him when he wakes up.
MIlitary persons are expected to follow the law, even if they aren't in the military anymore.
I know of a deserter, I knew him since he was two. If I knew where he lived, I would be very hard pressed not to turn him in.

It's a tv show, it's drama. They do screwed up things to make it entertaining for us the viewers not to give a window into how the real world of emergency services works.

Last night a helicopter was stolen, and 4 vials of morphine were stolen.
The EMT's chased the helicopter around town.
The acting person in charge, told the EMT's to go get the drugs back from an addict,
that was in an area with many drug addicts.
Scene safe? not no but ......no

I like the show but they are not even trying to make things realistic.

I would agree the show is not realistic. However, I am SURE that EMT's, Police Officers and the like cover for each other all.the.time. Is it right? No, but I'm sure they do it. As for as a deserter in the military, I myself would not turn them in. That's just me. But in another episode the female helicopter pilot turns in her friend. So, not sure what upsets you about that topic. I actually really like this show but I know they are only going to have a few more episodes. Bummer.
