  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Poland to require all adult men to take military training and consider nuclear weapons as Trump shifts on Russia

Poland “must pursue the most advanced capabilities, including nuclear and modern unconventional weapons,” Prime Minister Donald Tusk said.

The Polish government is preparing to require all Polish men to have
military training. Also, Poland is seeking nuclear and non-conventional weapons.

If the EU and NATO allow Russian to conquer Ukraine, then European countries
like Poland will be next in line to be conquered by Russia.

I don't blame them. Poles have a long history being treated as Central Europe's welcome mat, and with the United States' security guarantees being rendered hollow and empty, I suppose they have nothing else left to do.

How is Europe defending itself going to make nuclear war more likely than the USA using Ukraine as a proxy for its own geostrategy?

Putin has said that he wants to restore all the former Soviet states to Russian control. He doesn't need to invade all of Europe to do that.

Which is even more inexcusable if one only thinks about things. Russia cannot take on the whole of NATO, especially if it forces the latter to enter Total war mode. Putin is not insane, he knows Russian limitations, even if he does want to restore the Soviet Union (I don't believe he does), so this domino theory is really annoying.
