CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i don't think he's satanic, but he is evil, sucking kids & their parents money out of their wallets & purses in exchange for empty, deceitful promises of quality that never materialize.

I think personally these poeple have too much time on their hands. And why does Satan make you suffer in a tool shed. I have watched pokemon and have not developed a love for it.

That is hillarious! It sounds absolutely NOTHING like "I love satan" unless ogg sotsot in some weird language means that. You take a bunch of overly fundimentalist Christians and they will attack anything and everything using any means possible to prove that everything is of the devil. It's just nonsense. Pokemon (or anything for that matter) is bad if you're spending all of your money and time involved in it.

Pikachu spelled backwards is uhcakip. I'm not sure what it means but these people could probably find something in it.

Well, sorry, but I didn't hear any "I love Satan" in there. That's the American version anyway, so it'd be Americans who are trying to force Satan on us through Pokemon, not the Japanese (unless they have some weird subliminal messages, too, or something).

I suppose I chould add my 2 cents worth on the issue of playing backwards that this thread is about also. i sat and listened to all the songs out of curiosity. I tend to agree if listened to many times you can pick out what they say, but all but one or two sounded like they were stretching it too me. I can't remember exactly the name of the song, but it was the one where quietly but fairly distinctly you heard the bit about discovering the secret message. I wonder if it may have been done as a joke during the non-lyrics part of this song. Could it be done? I suppose so. Does it really matter? I don't think so... I think we have enough to judge whether it's a song we wish to enjoy based on far more obvious things. sometimes I wish I could just take out the words and enjoy some songs for there music and beat alone.

HEY! i just found something out, see i was doing some reviewing, i wrote down the original lyrics backwards, and sounded it out as i read, it doesn't sound anytihng like those backwards lyrics, THIS WAS ALL A HOAX, by some immature weirdo who wants people to think pokemon is bad, and twist and exploit other songs into thier twisted world. YOU ALL HAVE NOTIHNG TO WORRY ABOUT, POKEMON IS NOT SATANIC!
