Pokemon fans

Hi! Does anyone else like pokemon?
It's my fav hobby and i was just wondering whether anyone else likes it.
There aren't many Christian Pokemon fans that ive met, and iam getting rather lonely.......

I like it because the pokemon are cute, it has an imaginative storyline and loads of morals.

My fav quote comes from mewtwo in the first movie:

"I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life, that determines who you are."

My fav Pokemon is Pikachu, because it's adorable, loyal, kind and always likes to keep the peace.

Does anyone else share my hobby?

I still love Pokemon and all my friends tease me about it. Pikachu is my favorite too!

I haven't had the time to see many of the new episodes latley though. It's a shame because I really like the show.

I used to like Pokemon, and Psyduck was my favorite character. Always getting it wrong at the wrong time, yet really powerful when the headache was really bad. It always gave me a laugh. I lost interest after the 9999 time team rocket got blasted off again. It seemed the story plot was always the same every episode, only the characters changed a bit. But it is still a fun show. I always liked the line, “Hey you, with that Pikachu on your head!”

When I was in....O when was it?...5th or 6th grade. I was really into the Pokemon cards esp. the tops cards.

Now, I'm not into them at all...well thats kind of a lie . I like the Japanese ones they look cool to me but I only have like 5.

I got into the game alot. I got all 151. Of course, i cheated with Mew. LOL. But that was a long time ago, i was thinking about getting the ones on GBA, but i figured no, i dont have the time. The cartoon is "okay" kinda cheesy and bad voices, but its decent. I can't imagine why christians had moral problems with it, except the oh so popular,

They're monsters, kids watch more tv now, many japansese kids had siezures from it(demonic possesions. yeah right), a buch of other poo.

ya the seizures were from alternating flashing red and blue lights nothin' evil of course that episode was never shown again even though they dimmed the lights...but eh? why not be safe and make sure it doesnt happen here?

Hi all! I'm new and I'm trying to get the hang of this so bare with me. I love pokemon . I have played the Ruby/Sapphire, Gold/Silver/Crystal, and Red/Blue/Yellow versions of gameboy. I have collected many pokemon trading cards. I have downloaded several pokemon musics too. I like the japanese pokemon musics better than the english version. Depending on what type of pokemon, I have my favorites:

Fire: Blaziken/Charizard/Typhlosion/Flareon
Water: Suicune/Vaporeon/Golduck/Swampert
Electric: Manectric/Jolteon
Fighting: Blaziken
Dark: Umbreon/Absol
Dragon: Flygon/Dragonite
Steel: Skarmory/Scizor

Grass: Sceptile/Meganium/Ludicolo
Ground: Flygon/Swampert
Psychic: Latios/Latias/Espeon
Rock: Armaldo/Aerodactyl
Bug: Armaldo
Ice: Lapras/Articuno
Poison: Seviper
Normal: Zangoose/Stantler
Flying: Aerodactyl/Charizard/Dragonite

Ok, some have more than one favorite. Some names are from the G/S/C or Ru/Sa versions. All right, I talk too much. Time to shut up for now.

I've gone out and bought all of them!!! And the cartoons...well what can I say, the best kids anime ever...wouldn't say it lives up to things like gundam wing, but I don't think it's supposed to. Its great. I watched one of the really new ones the other day and was amazed!!!

I used to really like Pokemon when it was first out. I taped all the first season off of the tv and still have them for some reason. Don't watch it much anymore, except when there is a Gym battle. I still play the games. I haven't caught all the ones in Ruby yet, since I need to wait for Colosseum to come out so I can trade. My favs are:
Nidoking
Gyarados
Houndoom
Manectric
Sharpedo
Machoke
and others I don't have room to list here.
I tend to stay away from the cutesy ones and go more for the tough-looking ones. Nidoking is definitely my best one though. He's at level 100 and knows Body Slam, Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, and Earthquake. He was always my trump card when I played someone. Nobody expects him.
