  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Actually, when we first discussed having a thread for "pointless posts" our beloved ChiRho said something to the effect "oh, you mean like the kind I make"...never missing an opportunity to put "ChiChi" in his place, Phoebs quickly assembled something and the rest is history.

Well Rose, as you know Chi Rho is my brother, but just incase no one else does, there you go. He is in fact my older brother, and was kind enough to introduce me to this site. I have heard a lot about the people on here, mostly good things of course. I definitely have heard a lot good things about you Rose, I am glad to have finally meet you.
Oh, I would have asked Chi himself about the reason for describing this thread Chi's Greatest Hits, but he was away. I was curious about the title, so I just asked someone.

Welcome 1580!!! We are happy to have you on board with us. It is good to finally meet you, too...likewise ChiRho has told me good things about you...tells me of the two of you, you are better behaved. That's good because I think this forum is only big enough for ChiRho.

1580, oh yeah, I'm your um. .I can't say typical. . .but I'm a local young adult Lutheran who love the order of the service, and also love Contemporary Christian Music (but for listening, not for worship services!) *runs, ducks, dives, and hides from the pitchforks* is a youth minister and youth minister in training, is a complete church nerd and is also ELCA. . .so yeah. . .it can get kinda brutal in some of these threads for me!

Oh, yes, I'm also the local completely adore the Lutheran guy in the band girl. . .no matter our ages or anything. . .all you've gotta do is check the sig. You'll see. . .
