  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hii..

Anyone here who is a fan of these old classics? I'm currently on a mission to get these games back in circulation by creating a web-based Point & Click game creator. I genuinely believe these games have a lot of educational value for kids today and it would be great to see them enjoy and be creative with their own games without requiring years of hard work to create all the elements to produce one.

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

I used to love them. I'm glad they somewhat made a resurgence with games like the ones TellTale makes (not exactly point n click, but still Adventure). I'm not sure how you would go about getting old ones to work on the web though. I know some of them use the "ScummVm" engine (ScummVM :: Home), but you couldn't distribute the games themselves (which are kind of separate modules) without some license.
