Poem " WANTS and NEEDS"

I wanted recognition that the world might know and see.
God gave me grace to see myself, and know that He knows me.

I thought I needed money and the things that it would buy.
God, though, supplied abundant grace with things that satisfy.

I longed for more stability amid uncertainties of life,
But God's good grace gave safe assurance that extends beyond this strife.

I hungered for the fellowship of one whose love would never end.
Unmeasured Grace embraced me then, and Christ Himself calls me His friend!
