ANGEL WITHOUT WINGS
In the corner of a dark empty room,
A young girl weeps her tears of sorrow,
Someone has forsaken her,
Betrayed her and broken all her dreams.
Her fierce blue eyes filled with vengeance,
Her clothes are torn and stained.
Blood has been poured on the floor,
And smeared across the walls.
A wound that cannot be healed on this young girls back,
Will be a reminder of the evil in the night.
A white feather in center of the room,
The last piece of evidence that shows,
All the dreams that were won,
When all the fears in the world were no longer thought.
The cries will be heard in dark empty corners,
Of an angel with out wings.
I recieved an editors choice award for this and got it on the first page of a poetry book.
