Even when the sun doesn't shine
And the sky is dark and bleak
I will praise Your name.
Even when my heart is torn
And I've cried till I can't cry anymore

Even when questions fill my mind
And it's hard to keep my focus at times
I will praise Your name.
I may not understand at times
Why You allow things in my life
But I will praise Your name.
Even when people ridicule me
And treat me as a fool
I will praise Your name.
If You never did another thing for me
And I never heard Your voice again
I would still praise Your name
For You deserve my praise.
You created me, loved and kept me
You heard my faintest cries
You even protected me
All those times I passed You by.
You held me when I was lonely
When I cried, You wiped my eyes
And through my rebellion You loved me
And even sent Your Son to die.
Even when it's hard to hear
Your quiet and still small voice
I will praise Your name.
Even when the road is dark
And dead-ends are all I can see
Not only will I turn around
But I will praise Your name.
Even if I lose all I have
And am close to losing life
With my last and final breath
I will praise Your name.
Even when I am in a crowd
Where darkness and evil abides
I will praise Your name.
And even if I must stand alone
And my life is at state due to my confession
Even then I will life my eyes and hands to heaven
And will boldly say,
"Lord, I love You,
I honor and worship You,
And I will praise Your name forever!'
