Poem about the Cross

[G.I.L.]

Easter Poem-Poem about the Cross.

The Cross is made up
Of two straight lines
Two pieces of wood
But when you look deeper within
Down into the grain
You will see written there a list of all my sins.

The one thing that can erase them
Is for each and every day
To accept Jesus as my saviour
Then each sin will be washed away.

I really enjoyed your poem too.....
I think that it tells it like it is, That the Cross bears our sin, Just like it Bore the Body of Christ(who bore our sins)so we could be forgiven.

Laura, this is great good rhythm, good flow. You may want to check the 4th line and re-edit, it says when you deeper within,
I think perhaps you meant to say, when you dig deeper within, am I right about that? Or you could say when "you're" deeper within, there just seems to be a word missing. Let me know if you think another word needs to be there. I enjoyed reading this. Dee
