• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. Hi all,

I just got an email stating that our corporate office will be changing our work hours and we will get the final decisions today. I'm asking you to pray with me for favor with these folks that my hours will not be cut. I am trying very hard to recoup financially after a longterm illness and really would prefer to not undergo a cut in wages. I have been praying that God would show me favor with those making the decision. They are literally working on the changes as I type this. Your prayers are so much appreciated.

Thanks all for your prayers. I so appreciate them. Here's the update so far. I did get a bit of a cut at one of my part time jobs, but I got some extra work coming in from another, so in the end I think I'll break even.

Life happens. And it keep happening. Did you notice? But either way, we hang on to Jesus and let Him lead. He knows what He's doing.

Oh, by the way, car update: Again thanks so much for your prayers. It will be three weeks the day after tomorrow. The insurance company has finally given the go ahead for my mechanic to start working on the car. It looks like things have been working out fairly, and if all continues as it looks today, it will be working out in my favor. I will keep you posted, faithful prayer friends. And please pray that the repairs are done before the date on the rental car runs out.

Thanks so much for caring. It really means a lot. You really mean a lot.

Thank you so much for your prayers, Flower, but please DON'T WORRY. Jesus has got me. He is providing and always will. I just like to get prayer during these situations to keep my faith strong and because He tells us to pray for our needs. So don't worry. And thanks so much for caring.

Happy to hear that they will finally start working on your car! Know it has not been an easy time for you. Thankful that it worked out and they would repair your car.
I am also happy to hear that atleast you will break even on the job situation......seems like you have had a full plate lately. Praying that you will be able to feel God's rest. Hugs,Cindy

It is good that there is a rise in your other job - that is the good news for today hey?

If you are working less at this job, God will want to give you more in another area - and we see the evidence of that, in the news of more work in your other job.

Maybe God has more of a purpose in having you at the other job a little more than this one. There will be more blessings on the back of this, I am sure.

Great your car is being fixed.

I didn't see your post in time to pray, but I do pray that you receive all monies due to you, expected annd unexpected in Jesus' beautiful Name.

And I also pray for Jesus's own health, within you to power through your physical body like Popeye's spinach, each night as you sleep . I pray that with each night's sleep , your physical health would increase, by the tender and powerful work of God's Spirit, Who is in you.
