ughhhh... I found the most awesome house this weekend, in a really wonderful neighborhood... and it's $40K cheaper than the house I almost bought, that I'm living in now!
The contract went thru last night, and they even agreed to pay closing costs!
However... tomorrow is Loan Day (crack, boom...) I am not sure I will qualify. Of course the contract is contingent on that, but there are so many variables... I've talked to 4 loan officers over the past month, and 2 say I can get a loan no prob at all, and the other 2 say maybe, maybe not. I dunno who to believe! But I have (you guessed it) a Christian loan officer so hopefully she'll work hard on my behalf.
I have one last big ole debt that I haven't paid off, and I'm most worried about that... my debt-to-credit ratio is pretty high. I'm gonna call them today and ask if they'll take it off my credit report, and in exchange after I get the mortgage they can put a lien against my house. Otherwise, I kinda doubt I can get approved. Then if I do get approved, I have to get $5K in 3 weeks before closing.
anyhow.. pls. pray for me. the irony is, the ppl. I owe money to are under state authority.. and if I had a car payment they would HAVE to forgive the debt! But.. I can't figure out how I'm supposed to get a car right now, this week, while still leaving enough money for myself to close. ackkkk. it's so frustrating.. the more you spend, the less debt you have.. no fair!
