  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Noah is a homeless man who has hit rock bottom. He lost his job, his house, all his money, and has been in jail for drug possession. Please pray for the right rehab to take him in, for housing, food and all his needs, and delivery from panic attacks and fear. Most of all please pray for the Lord to restore the joy of his salvation and surround him with brothers and sisters in Christ. God bless!

I pray that Noah may have an ark (a refuge such as a rehab shelter), so he may be able to surround himself with fellow Christians and avoid falling into panic attacks and fear, and that he may rejoice in the LORD.

Our Father in heaven,

We come to You, Lord to intercede for Noah. We pray for a clear path and open doors to help him get back on his feet. Protect him Lord from all harm to body and mind. Heal him Lord from all infirmaries, bind his heart and lead him back into the community of Christ's body.

In the name of Christ Jesus we ask, Amen.

Dear Lord, Please guide Noah to a rehab facility run by those who follow You, that he may be able to recover in light of Your truth. I pray for financial provision for his situation, that he may be able to survive and be a witness to Your restoration. In Christ's Name, Amen.

Noah has been accepted into a 6 month rehab program and housing at the Salvation Army - which is no small feat as just about all the programs and facilities we called in this city were fully booked. Please continue to pray for God's provision and victory, and for me to have wisdom in how to encourage him along the way. God bless you all!

I pray thanksgiving to God that Noah was accepted into a rehab program. I pray that God would be with Noah and help him recover.

Amen to this. I will pray for him, that God can continue to provide for Noah, and that God will help you encourage Noah, and give him victory over addictions. Also, I pray that one of these days, that Noah may be able to witness in Christ to homeless people himself, in order to help others escape from addiction.
