In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My story is long - so I won't bore you with it all - you can have the potted version.

I was abused and raped as a child, the psychological affects of this are quite big - but through God and my amazing christian counsellor at my church I'm slowly overcoming these things.

For the first time in my 'walk' I am in line with God - and it feel incredible. God is using me in so many ways. I'm being encouraged left, right and centre.

However, part of my abuse legacy has left me with a strange ability to allow myself to be distracted by men (sexual sin in the past, althoug not recently).

I want to keep my eyes focused totally on God and don't want to be distracted again.

Please pray for my wisdom, discernment and for God to protect me.

It is a wonderful thing how God can bring inner healing to us and set us free. I too have had much sorrow turned into Joy. I will be glad to lift you up. I hope you will be comforted in knowing you have the full armour of Christ and that Jesus is your rear guard.
