  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I'm glad you have friends there for you, and friends here as well. :) I have been there and I just want to say that things do get better. Give your burdens to the Lord and let Him guide you through this. In the meantime, I will keep you in my prayers and here is a poem that helped me through some of my more difficult moments. I hope it will touch your heart as it did mine.

Lifes Weaving

My life is but a weaving between my God and me;
I may not choose the colors, He knows what they should be.
For He can view the pattern upon the upper side,
While I can see it only on this the under side.

Sometimes He weaveth sorrow, which seemeth strange to me;
But I will trust His judgement, and work on faithfully;
Tis He who fills the shuttle, He knows just what is best;
So I shall weave in earnest, and leave Him with the rest.

At last when life is ended, with Him I shall abide,
Then I may view the pattern upon the upper side;
Then I shall know the reason why pain with joy entwined;
Was woven in the pattern of life that God designed.
