Please pray for me. Things are not going well at work and I'm afraid that I might loose my job. All the stress has caused me to start smoking again after quitting for 7 months.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Praying for you Kelly. Praying for your situation and work and that you will be able to stop smoking. I know how hard it is and just pray for strength for you. But also realize that those cigarettes can not do a thing for your problems. In all reality, they will just cause more problems down the line, which I am sure you already now since it appears you had quit for awhile. Depend on God to give you the strength to get through these rough times. He is faithful Kelly!

I will be praying for you. I will pray that you keep you job but who knows maybe God has something better for you. I always try to look on the positive side and take others with me. As for smoking I will pray that you can overcome it. I know life can be stressful but with Gods strength with us we can overcome. God puts us through trials to strengthen us ot hinder us.

Gracious Lord: I lift up Kelly during this time of uncertainty in her life. Open her heart and her mind to the desires of Your will for her life. Strengthen and uphold Kelly, that she would be able to do away wtih the cigarettes in times of trouble, and lean only the Rock of her salvation. In His precious name I pray ... Amen!

Thanks for all the prayers everyone! The pink slips went out today and I did'nt get one. 
And I since I know that I will continue to have insurance for a while I made an appointment with my doctor to get some Zyban to help me with the smoking. GOD is good and so are all the friends at CF!!!!
