  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi,

I have a 14+ year old dashcund, Kibbles, that I've had since she was 10 weeks old that needs prayer. She is starting to loose control of her bodily functions & hearing. It does not appear that she is in pain, but I know her health may very well be deteriating due to her age. She's had a great life & been my best friend for years. I need prayer too. Loosing her will be really tough on me. I know it's envitable. She's always been there for me through all my ups, downs & everywhere else I've been in the past 14 years. (I don't have children either, so she's the closet I have ever had).

I really pray that if God is going to take her soon that He not have her suffer & that she might pass away in her sleep. Would you agree in prayer with me? Having her put down sounds really unbearable to me. Your prayers for my buddy & me will be greatly appreciated.:groupray:

Thanks & God bless,
Julie

Thanks for your prayers. Kibbles is doing better, so much so that I even put her back in bed with us (my husband & I) last nite. Hubby was a little hesitant, but let me do it as he knows she's been sleeping with me for over 14 years. Because of all her recent 'accidents' we opted to put her in her cage next to the bed a couple of nites ago & her in it. :sorry: She is really doing well. She's been going to the door & barking, like old times, to let me know she needs to go out. I'm most grateful that God gave me such a special pet in her. She's brought me years of joy. Thanks again for your prayers!
