Please pray for a dear friend ...

My friend is talking about divorcing her husband ... her third husband ... when she married this guy six years ago it was after being a single mom for quite some time and after getting her life together and on the right track with God ... now she is saying that they should never have gotten married, that it wasn't God's will for them ... and she is saying that she is/has been a lesbian and that that is why she has been battling depression for a long time because she is living her life to please others.  She attempted suicide a year or so ago and has been on antidepressants since then - she is/was also seeing a counselor (recommended by her church).  Now she wants to divorce her husband, sell her house, go to a different church and change her life.

Please pray that the Lord will draw her back to Himself and that despite what she may think about whether or not she is lesbian that she will not act upon that and stray further down a path that will only lead to more sin and sadness .....

Update: talked to her DD this evening - she wrote mom an eight page letter expressing how she feels about everything - pray it will reach mom's heart. DD said that mom is going kayaking with her new "friends" tomorrow - pray that the Lord will thwart these plans and any plans that put her into the wrong fellowship - and that the Lord will surround her with strong Christian friends/influence.

DD said that her sister was talking to mom the other day and mom was in tears - she thinks due to conviction ... so your prayers are making a difference ... please light a candle for her at your next Mass. Thank you!!!
