I am a newie too. Its nice to "meet" you. Praying here for you. Mainly, I am asking our Father that He grant you His shalom in the midst of this chaotic hurricane sized storm in your life. My husband is 10 years older. Its often distressing to witness physical changes happen. You are blessed his mind and memories are sharp. I KNOW He loves you as you do him. Jesus won't lay more on us than we can handle. I know that sounds trite but I have found that to be so very true. We are having "family issues" here too regarding my mom's passing away this summer. Jesus is faithful. One day at a time we can make it. You can make it. Just trust Him. Keep your servant's heart and keep loving your hubby. bless you and hugs!

It's strange you should say that, Mary. Anthea died in May last year in hospital, and I actually did for a brief time understand very clearly what you were both on about, and fervently wished I could have said it to her then and at the time - as well as having many other regrets, such as not having helped her more with the housework.
