  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello IM new to the forums I just signed up for this reason But I ill probly be hanging around for a while
IM not important right now Im worryed about a friend please help her out

Her name is Tori she lives in Australia
she is 14 years of age and is in need of prayer

she is a Very good friend to me we go to a Bible study together but for the last 2 mounths I have not seen her because she has been very depressed
she has been depressed before but not like this I had the Bible over my house on Saturdy and she said she would come

she came and I seen on her arm she had cuts all over both arms
she has been using razers to cut her arms

I been trying to help her for a while now but I cant do a thing

being a 18 year old male I dont know how girls minds work at all

but I know self pain is not normal

Its my hope that you pray help me in prayer

I dont know what to even say to her
she says she feels like nobody likes her and her family hates her

the only thing I can realy say to help her is thats not true we all like you, and I love you

somebody please help

I am glad that you brought this request here. There are many caring people on this site that will gladly pray for Tori. You sound like such a good, caring friend for her. Be there for her as much as you can. If possible, suggest that she seek help through a psychologist, psychiatrist, etc.. If she needs to, she should go to her local ER and they will help her.

I will be saying many prayers for Tori. I pray God grant her peace to help her through. God loves her and wants what is best.

Father God,
We come before you now and pray for this precious child of yours. Tori is in a lot of pain and is in the need of your Peace. We pray that she will be healed in body, spirit, soul and mind and that you will protect her with your presence. We thank you that she has such a good friend in Ruuku. We pray that Ruuku can be used by you to help to minister to Tori's needs. We praise you so much for your lovingkindness and your healing power. In the precious name of Jesus we pray.

Hey I prayed for you buddy. I don't know what's going on with her of course, but sounds really bad. If you can get her to go out and play with you hang with you, go for a walk anything to keep her distracted as a friend I'm sure that would help.

Heavenly Father, i pray for Ruuku's friend Tori. Lord, please help her out of her depression. Allow her to see that she does have great friends like Ruuku that care for her. Lord, please allow her to see that you love her, and that you will always love her. Lord, i pray that you would guide Ruuku. Father, help him talk to Tori, to change her life around. Lord Jesus, I know that you love Tori very, very much, and you hate to see your children suffer. Please let your will be done Lord. You can bring this out for good. Thank you for giving her a friend like ruuku, Lord. I ask that you strengthen him right now Lord. Give him wisdom to know how to help her. Amen.

ruuku- I don't know all that's going on, but I've been in Tori's shoes before. She's so blessed to have a friend who can see what's happening and trying to help her. In my situation, it was God alone who intervened and caused me to be here today. Just being there for her to listen and be a non-threatening person to go to is huge thing.
