Hi People,

I would be very grateful if you could pray for me. God has allowed the devil to test me for a time and it is hard to bear. Its hard to see any light in this darkness but I think God is using this experience to futher my faith. Please pray also that I will be less selfish in my own prayers. I am praying for Kaylee!

Hi Matt. Don't worry. God loves you so much . It sounds like you are going through spiritual warfare.

I would put on the whole armour of God daily.( Ephesians 6:10-24). Let me tell you something that we learned in my school of leaders3 class.TRIALS ARE TEMPORARY! Everyday I have to remind myself to get my eyes off my problems and focus them on Jesus. The author and finisher of my faith. (Hebrews 12:2). I am not trying to condemm you. Or critize you. I have been going through some hard trials myself lately also. So I have been telling myself all of this lately. Satan has been throwing darts at me a lot lately. But remember "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.( I John 4:4). Get in the word. Find scriptures for your situation. Claim God's promises. Rebuke satan in the mighty name of Jesus. Tell satan he has to flee. He has no authority over you. You are a child of the king. Also listen to some good christian music. Praise God like you never have before. Dance before the Lord. Victory is yours. Watch and see if it doesn't seem like all your burdens are lifted off your shoulders. Satan can't stay in the presence of God. Remind satan of his future. I hope you will take this advice and use it. We all go through trials. But God can carry our burdens for us. If we let him. I recommend that you read " How to survive an attack. It is by Roberts Liardon.
It will show you in plain english how to survive spiritual warfare. That is definetely what you are going through. Heavy spiritual warfare. It will even show you how to recognize an attack. It is very good. I am rereading it again. It is the first book I read after my bible when I am going through spiritual warfare.God would not allow give satan permission to try and test you if he did not beleive you could withstand the test. You will come out like pure gold.

Hi Matt,

Well I will say your a good looking lad, with a heart of Gold, but battling at the moment. Your right its the devil attacking you at present, but personally I would not call the attack on you, as youve titled it, the Devil doesn't have Angels, its just satan attacking you. The Lord will 100% use this experience to further your faith and you will be really strong when its over. Your not being selfish asking for prayers love, thats what these sites are for, so don't let satan put than on you also. You although its hard need to think of this as a very positive thing, you may feel surrounded in darkness, but the Lord will be working for you also although you may not see it. So imagine a wrestling ring, you have a good person and you have a bad person and its the best person who will win. This is the same as Jesus and Satan. So you tell me who will win, who is the strongest, JESUS OF COURSE! This is like our lives continously. What I suggest you do, and it does help is continue what your doing, praying for others, going to church, having fellowship etc.
The more involved with Godly things we do the further satan scatters. This will come to an end but you'll be a stronger person when it does.

Lord I pray for Matt and ask you'll help him cling to you through this dark time, show him a light that its coming to an end and cover him with your Holy Spirit.

Father I ask that You are with Matt at this time of trial for him. Lord he is suffering and times are hard but let him not forget that You are with him through all his sufferings, that Your blessings are new every morning. Lord You are always there for us, even in the darkness, You are the one holding our hand. I ask that You squeeze Matt's hand in his darkness. Alert him again to Your awesome presence, to Your radiance that brightens every dark place.

Make sure you SPEAK God's promises out of your mouth. "He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world", "Rebuke the devil and he'll flee from you". Don't feel weird telling the devil to leave. He has no power over you except when we invite him by inviting fearful thoughts.
MAKE SURE you constantly remind yourself of God's promises for you. You can't have God and the devil in your mind and heart, its either one or the other. When you speak God's word, it will displace the devil and all the negative thoughts in your heart.

Father, give him the grace to overcome. You said to rebuke the devil and he'll flee from us. Give him the grace, courage and words to say to put your power into action, to free him of attacks from the devil in Jesus name.
